Indoor: Was sixth in the long jump at the Leonard Hilton Memorial setting a season best finish of 6.66m/21-10.25...Had a fifth place finish in the heptathlon at the Houston Invitational...Finished tied for seventh in the pole vault at the UH All-Comers Meet...Notched a fifth place finish in the heptathlon and a seventh place finish in the pole vault at the C-USA Indoor Championships. Outdoor: Runner-up in the decathlon at the C-USA Championships was also fifth in the pole vault...Earned a fourth place finish in the javelin and an eighth place finish in the discus at the Tom Tellez Invitational...Was fifth in the javelin at the LSU Tiger Classic...Finished third in the javelin at the John Jacobs Invitational...Notched a fifth place finish in the javelin at the Cal Collegiate Challenge.

Indoor: Recorded a personal best 6.64 meters (21-9.50) in the long jump with an 11th place finish at the Houston Indoor Opener... Finished 18th in the shot put at the Houston Indoor Opener with a throw of 11.65 meters (38-2.75)... Was fifth a the Conference USA Indoor Championships in the heptathlon scoring 1,003 points... Had a personal best 4,689 points in an eighth place finish in the heptathlon at the Houston Indoor Invitational. Outdoor: Finished fourth in the decathlon at the Conference USA Championships with 6,820 points... Was fifth in the shot put at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational with a throw of 15.15 meters (49-8.50)... Also finished second at the conference championships in the javelin with a throw of 57.16 meters (187-6).

All-State performer in three different sports...three-time state qualifer...best event was long jump where he set Whitewright's school record of 23-5...was a member of the 2004 state championship mile relay...relay team was the runner-up in 2005...was the Class 2A state runner-up in the 100 meters, and had a third-place finish in the 400 meters and a sixth-place showing in the long jump...an All-State selection in baseball as a junior and senior...was named District MVP as a running back in football.
