Justin Moore begins his first season as the Director of Football Operations, coming to the University of Houston this past spring from Texas A&M University.

A former standout baseball player for the Aggies, Moore spent the last two years as Special Assistant to John Thornton, who is the Senior Associate Athletics Director at A&M. In this role Moore coordinated and led the NCAA certification process, assisted with football scheduling and assisted and coordinated all student financial aid. He also coordinated and supervised all activities associated with agent interviews, NFL pro-day and all educational seminars and activities for student-athletes and their parents.

Prior to his stint at Texas A&M, Moore worked in the private sector as a risk consultant for one of the big four accounting firms, Deloitte & Touche LLP. In this role he consulted with top level executives of Fortune 500 companies on both their business cycles and information technology processes.

Moore was a two-time captain for the Aggie baseball team where he starred from 2000-2004. Named a Freshman All-American pitcher in 2001, Moore was twice named to the All-Big XII Team, was a two-time recipient of the Pat Olsen Most Valuable Pitcher Award (2001-2002) and was named to the Academic All-Big XII Team four years in a row.

Moore graduated from Texas A&M in 2004 with a degree in finance and later earned a master's degree in sport management. A native of Houston, he is married to the former Dory Mozisek.
