Moves back to linebacker after playing last season as rush defensive end... missed most of spring drills recovering from surgery... should be at 100 percent when fall camp starts... a valuable contributor on special teams.
JUNIOR (2007)
Competed in all 13 games and was a valuable member of special teams... one of only 35 players to compete in all 13 games... recorded two tackles, including 0.5 for a loss of a yard, against Colorado State during the home opener against Colorado State... finished with an assisted tackle for a loss at Alabama... posted four tackles, including a pair of solo stops, against C-USA rival Rice... recorded four tackles and broke up a pair of passes against Texas Southern during the regular-season finale.
SOPHOMORE (2006)
One of 34 players to play in all 14 games, setting the UH single-season record... key member of the special teams units.
REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2005)
Competed in 10 games with back-to-back starts against Sam Houston State and at UTEP... third on the team with five quarterback hurries... made his first career appearance against Oregon in the season opener... finished with four tackles and a team-high two quarterback hurries against the Ducks... made his first career start against Sam Houston State in the Robertson Stadium opener... led the team with nine total tackles against the Bearkats... posted five tackles with one for a two-yard loss, broke up a pass and added a quarterback hurry at UTEP in the C-USA opener... made three tackles and added a quarterback hurry at Tulsa... made five tackles with a quarterback hurry against Tulane... finished with five tackles against Memphis. Helped lead Lufkin High School to a playoff berth with a 9-2 record... played for John Outlaw... selected First-Team All-District as a senior... twice picked as a First-Team Academic All-District selection.
